In the hours following the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Fox News vetoed former President Donald Trump’s request to go on air, court papers show.
The information comes from evidence unveiled this week in court documents filed in Dominion’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News.
The documents also unveiled that Fox Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch told CEO Suzanne Scott its on-air personalities should tell viewers the night before Jan. 6 that Joe Biden won the election.
