U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that the Department of Justice and State Department are offering a $50 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Bondi accused Maduro of working with foreign terrorist organizations, including Tren de Aragua and the Cartel of the Suns, to traffic deadly drugs into the United States. She said the DEA has seized 30 tons of cocaine linked to Maduro and his associates, nearly seven tons directly tied to him, as well as more than $700 million in assets.

The seizures include two private jets and nine vehicles. Bondi said the cocaine is often laced with fentanyl, causing “countless” American deaths, and described Maduro as “one of the largest traffickers in the world and a threat to our national security.”

The reward, doubled from its previous amount, is part of the Trump administration’s effort to hold Maduro accountable. Bondi urged anyone with information to contact the DEA via phone or online tip form.
