Washington, D.C. Former President Bill Clinton is urging the Justice Department to immediately release all remaining documents tied to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, arguing that the Trump administration’s handling of the disclosures suggests information is being withheld to protect unknown interests.

In a statement posted to X by Clinton spokesperson Angel Ureña, Clinton cited the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires the Justice Department to produce a complete public record. Ureña said the partial releases so far raise concerns about selective disclosure, stating that “someone or something is being protected,” though he did not specify whom.

The statement followed the Justice Department’s release of thousands of Epstein-related documents last week. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said additional materials would be released on a rolling basis, a decision criticized by the bipartisan sponsors of the law, Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Ro Khanna of California.

Among the documents already released are photographs showing Clinton aboard Epstein’s private jet and socializing with Epstein and others. The faces of women pictured with Clinton were redacted. Clinton has repeatedly denied any involvement in Epstein’s criminal activity and says he severed ties once Epstein’s crimes became public.

Ureña called on President Donald Trump to release all materials referencing Clinton to avoid insinuations created by partial disclosures. The statement comes as Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton face upcoming House Oversight Committee depositions related to their past association with Epstein.
