New York, NY — A former inmate who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein shortly before his 2019 death is recounting unverified stories the disgraced financier allegedly told him about President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton.

William Mersey says he spent more than two dozen hours with Epstein at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center while participating in a companion program for inmates considered at risk of suicide.

In a new TMZ documentary, Mersey says he asked Epstein for a story that captured Trump’s personality. According to Mersey, Epstein responded with an anecdote involving Trump, a private jet, a French woman and Atlantic City, claiming Trump once described himself as “white-trash adjacent.”

Mersey said Epstein then volunteered a separate sexually explicit story involving Clinton during a trip to China.

Neither account has been independently verified, and Mersey’s recollections constitute hearsay rather than evidence that Trump or Clinton committed wrongdoing connected to Epstein.

The White House rejected the implications of the report and reiterated its position that Trump eventually barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago. Clinton’s representatives did not respond to TMZ’s request for comment.

Trump and Clinton were both socially acquainted with Epstein before his 2019 arrest, but neither has been charged with participating in Epstein’s sex-trafficking crimes.
