Musk defended these measures as aligning with his principles despite questions about their impact on free speech. He cautioned against what he perceives as false advocacy groups attempting to stifle free expression.

Musk has received accusations of antisemitism from entities such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the White House. The fallout from these allegations has led to significant advertisers like IBM and Apple suspending their advertising campaigns on the platform.
