In a recent survey conducted by Harvard-Harris, it was found that a majority of voters in the Republican primary field still support former President Trump, with 52% of respondents backing him.
If there were to be a theoretical general election, Trump would pose a tough challenge to current President Biden, as he is shown to lead with 45% of the vote compared to Biden’s 40%.
The survey also found that a significant 70% of those polled expressed a desire for more options in the upcoming elections, showing a need for new perspectives and alternative choices.
