Changes/Corrections made

On 3/16/2021 NTD TV (New Tang Dynasty) was moved from Right-Center Biased to the Questionable list based on the promotion of conspiracies, propaganda, lack of transparency, and false claims. NTD TV is a source that was founded by Falun Gong practitioners and is owned by the Epoch Media Group, which also operates the far-right and questionable Epoch Times. Falun Gong is either a religion or cult depending on who you ask, either way, they are fiercely opposed to the Chinese Communist Party and strongly in favor of former President Trump and conservatism. During the 2020 election, they routinely promoted misleading election fraud conspiracies.

On 3/17/2021 the Washington Post was moved from High Factual to Mostly Factual due to a second failed fact check on news stories. See the full report here.

On 3/17/2021 Bridge Michigan was re-reviewed and moved from Least Biased to Left-Center based on most editorials favoring the left. They maintained a high factual and high credibility rating due to proper sourcing and zero failed fact checks.

Notable Source Additions

Kiplinger– is a newsletter, magazine, and website that reports on personal finance news as well as provides business forecasting. MBFC rates them Least Biased and Highly Credible.

The True Reporter- is a website that publishes conservative news and commentary that often promotes conspiracy theories and pseudoscience. It is run by Enric Huff (pseudonym) who also operates the website The True Defender, which reports similar far-right conspiracy theories. MBFC rates them Questionable based on the promotion of propaganda, conspiracy theories, and pseudoscience as well as a lack of transparency, the use of poor sources, and false claims.

Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN): is a source that publishes videos, primarily of Donald Trump’s rallies and speeches. They also interview other conservatives such as Charlie Kirk. They even had White House Press credentials during the Trump Admin. Upon review, MBFC has determined they are Questionable based on the promotion of conspiracy theories, right-wing propaganda, the use of poor sources, and failed fact checks.
