Reports indicate that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently held a meeting with Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of the Wagner mercenary group. The meeting was held in Moscow and reportedly involved discussions about the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, as well as potential future use of Wagner commanders in combat.
It is unclear where Prigozhin currently is, but he had previously been in Belarus as part of a deal to resolve a stand-off there. Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko has stated that Prigozhin is now back in Russia.
