President Trump has issued a full pardon to Michele Fiore, a former Las Vegas City Council member and gubernatorial candidate known as “Lady Trump,” after her conviction in a charity fraud scheme involving funds meant for a police memorial.

Fiore was convicted in October on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and six counts of wire fraud. Prosecutors said she raised over $70,000 for a memorial honoring two fallen officers but used the donations for personal and political expenses, including rent and payments to family members.

She was facing up to 20 years in prison on each count. Her sentencing was scheduled for next month before Trump granted clemency on Wednesday.

In a statement, Fiore said she felt “vindicated” and expressed deep gratitude to Trump. Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford condemned the pardon, calling it “a disgrace” and a betrayal of law enforcement.

Trump previously pardoned 144 individuals in his first term, including January 6 defendants during his second term.
