Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg met with President-elect Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago to discuss American innovation and the incoming administration. While Zuckerberg did not endorse Trump or Kamala Harris during the election, he praised Trump’s resilience following an assassination attempt, calling his raised-fist stance “badass.”
Meta confirmed the meeting, noting Zuckerberg’s appreciation for the chance to engage with Trump’s team. Despite past threats by Trump to jail him, Zuckerberg congratulated the president-elect in a Threads post, saying, “Congratulations to President Trump on a decisive victory. We have great opportunities ahead of us as a country.”
The meeting reflects a shift in tone as several business leaders, including Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, acknowledged Trump’s win.
