A 17-year-old Wisconsin teen is in custody after allegedly murdering his parents as part of a broader plan to assassinate President Donald Trump, according to court records and law enforcement.

Nikita Casap is accused of fatally shooting his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer, in their Waukesha County home on February 11. Authorities allege the murders were committed to gain financial independence and autonomy to carry out a violent plot against the U.S. government.

Investigators uncovered text messages, a self-described manifesto, and documents calling for Trump’s assassination and a political revolution. Casap also expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler and referenced “The Order of Nine Angles,” a neo-Nazi extremist group.

The FBI reported that Casap purchased a drone and explosives for use in a planned attack. A three-page document linked to him detailed intentions to cause chaos by targeting national leaders and to “save the white race” from so-called “Jewish controlled politicians.”

Casap faces nine felony charges, including two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse.
