A Wisconsin judge ruled that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name will stay on the state’s presidential ballot after Kennedy sought to remove it following his campaign suspension and endorsement of Donald Trump.
Dane County Circuit Judge Stephen Ehlke cited Wisconsin law, stating that candidates must remain on the ballot unless they die. Kennedy had filed a lawsuit arguing that state deadlines discriminate against third-party candidates.
Ehlke rejected the request, noting ballots had already been printed and removing his name would create logistical issues. This decision follows similar rulings in Michigan and North Carolina.
