He claimed Harris’s leadership would result in young Americans being “drafted to go fight for a war in a country that you’ve never heard of,” contrasting his own stance, which he said would prevent major conflicts.

Trump also referenced the October 2023 Israel-Hamas conflict, suggesting it wouldn’t have happened under his leadership. His remarks followed recent controversy sparked by Harris referring to Trump as a “fascist” during a CNN town hall. Republican leaders, including Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, criticized her language as dangerously inflammatory, referencing recent assassination attempts on Trump and urging restraint.
