On Friday morning, former President Trump expressed his opposition to the possibility of being indicted by the Manhattan district attorney, arguing that such an action could lead to “potential death & destruction.”
In a post on Truth Social, he asked why someone would charge a former president with a crime when it is widely known that no crime has been committed. Trump also stated that only a “degenerate psychopath” who hates the USA would do such a thing. Trump’s comments came as a grand jury is considering whether to indict him over hush money payments made to a porn star during the 2016 campaign. Some are concerned that Trump’s remarks could contribute to the possibility of violence ahead of potential charges.
