At a pro-Israel conference, former President Donald Trump warned that Israel would “cease to exist in two years” if he loses the November election. Addressing the Israeli American Council in Washington D.C., Trump criticized the 60% of American Jews who support Democrats, calling them “fools” and urging them to reconsider their votes.
Trump, speaking alongside mega-donor Miriam Adelson, also vowed to combat antisemitism on college campuses by threatening to strip universities of federal funding if they fail to address it. His remarks come amid rising tensions following the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel and the ongoing war with Gaza.
Despite Trump’s appeal, polls show a significant lead for Vice President Harris among Jewish voters, though the Republican Jewish Coalition is ramping up efforts in key swing states.
