Former President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that he would veto any federal abortion ban if presented with one during a potential second term. In a post on Truth Social, Trump emphasized, “Everyone knows I would not support a federal abortion ban, under any circumstances, and would, in fact, veto it, because it is up to the states to decide.” This statement came during the vice presidential debate between Sen. JD Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, where abortion was a key issue.
