President Trump on Thursday unveiled a golden “Trump Card,” representing a visa available to immigrants who invest $5 million in the United States through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program.

During an informal press conference aboard Air Force One, Trump displayed the card, which features his photo, radiating beams, the Statue of Liberty, a bald eagle, nine stars, and the words “The Trump Card.” The card also includes “5M” and “5,000,000” markings, along with Trump’s signature. “For $5 million, this could be yours,” Trump said. “That was the first of the cards.”

Trump added the card will be available to applicants in less than two weeks and noted he is its first buyer, despite being a U.S. citizen.

The EB-5 program grants green cards to those investing in commercial enterprises that create or preserve at least 10 U.S. jobs. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said 250,000 people are on the waiting list.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) criticized the program, stating, “You don’t need to have $5 million in your bank account to build a successful company in America.”
