President-elect Donald Trump strongly criticized President Biden for commuting the death sentences of 37 federal inmates, converting them to life imprisonment. In a Christmas Day social media post, Trump referred to these individuals as “violent criminals” and said they should “go to hell.”
Trump also addressed foreign relations, accusing China of “illegally” manning the Panama Canal and advocating for its return to U.S. control. He also commented on Canada, suggesting it could benefit economically and militarily by becoming the 51st U.S. state, and expressed strategic interest in Greenland for national security.
