Former President Trump raised doubts about participating in an upcoming debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, scheduled for September 10 and hosted by ABC News. In a Truth Social post, Trump criticized the network for bias, referencing an interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and a panel discussion he labeled as “Trump Haters.” He questioned why he should debate Harris on ABC, citing past controversies like Donna Brazile’s leaked questions to the Clinton campaign in 2016.

Trump also speculated about whether George Stephanopoulos, with whom he is involved in litigation, would be involved in the debate, though there’s no indication of this. He noted that Harris had declined debate offers from other networks, including Fox and NBC.
Trump had initially agreed to the ABC-hosted debate with President Biden before Harris replaced Biden on the Democratic ticket. The debate is set to take place in Philadelphia, moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis.
