Former President Trump hinted at a potential role for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his administration if he wins the election. Praising the Independent candidate, Trump called him a “brilliant” and “very smart guy” during a CNN interview, adding, “I’d be open to it.”

Speculation about a Trump-Kennedy partnership has grown as the two vie for similar voter groups. Kennedy’s vice-presidential pick, Nicole Shanahan, fueled these rumors in a podcast, suggesting they might end their campaign and endorse Trump.

Shanahan mentioned they could “join forces” with Trump but did not confirm any decision. She also expressed concern that staying in the race could benefit Democratic nominee Vice President Harris and running mate Tim Walz. Trump believes a Kennedy endorsement would boost his campaign, currently close in polls with Harris.
