President Trump lashed out Wednesday at former allies and supporters still focused on the Jeffrey Epstein controversy, calling the case a “hoax” and accusing them of doing Democrats’ bidding. “I don’t want their support anymore,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, referring to those he says are clinging to “Fake News” narratives about Epstein’s death and a missing client list.

Trump’s comments come as his administration faces ongoing backlash over a DOJ memo concluding Epstein died by suicide and that no client list was found—findings that have ignited frustration among the MAGA base. On Capitol Hill, Democrats have seized on the internal rift, pressing Republicans to choose between Trump and transparency.

Attorney General Pam Bondi remains a central figure in the controversy and has faced calls for resignation from Trump loyalists. Meanwhile, some Republicans, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, have urged the administration to release more information.

Despite efforts to quell the fallout, Trump told reporters this week that Epstein was “pretty boring” and “somebody that nobody cares about.”
