Former President Trump has called for President Biden to undergo a drug test prior to their upcoming debates. “I’m gonna demand a drug test too, by the way,” Trump announced at a recent event. He expressed concerns about Biden’s performance during his State of the Union address, claiming Biden was “high as a kite.”
Trump has previously voiced similar sentiments in a radio interview, stating Biden was “all jacked up” during his address. The two have agreed to participate in two presidential debates scheduled for June and September on CNN and ABC. They have just over a month to prepare.
Trump emphasized the need for fairness in the debates, stating, “They gotta be fair, I think they gotta be fair, and if they’re not, you know, you have to deal with it.”
Rep. Greg Murphy (R-N.C.) also suggested that Biden seemed unusually energetic during his State of the Union address. “Joe Biden must have been jacked up on something that day,” Murphy said, adding that he believes this from a medical perspective. He questioned Biden’s ability to stand under the lights for an extended period and maintain focus.
