The White House Spanish-language website, whitehouse.gov/es/, went offline just hours after President Trump returned to office. Previously operational under the Biden administration, the site now displays a 404 error. Similarly, the Spanish-language Instagram page, @LaCasaBlanca, is inaccessible.

Trump’s administration also removed the Spanish site in 2017, reinstated during Biden’s presidency in 2021. The shutdown coincides with new executive orders targeting U.S.-Mexico border crossings, including a national emergency declaration.

White House spokesperson Harrison Fields told the Associated Press, “We are in the process of updating the website and committed to reloading content soon.”

The Spanish-language site dates back to the George W. Bush administration and remained active under Obama. Trump officials have also removed other resources, such as reproductiverights.gov and the CBP One app for migrant appointments.
