Federal authorities have charged Jamison Wagner, 40, of New Mexico, in connection with arson attacks on a Tesla showroom and the Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) headquarters.

On February 9, two Tesla vehicles and the showroom were damaged in a fire. Graffiti reading “Telsa Nazi Inc.” and swastikas were spray-painted on the building. A second attack on March 30 targeted the RPNM office, damaging its entrance. At both locations, investigators recovered similar improvised incendiary devices with green lids.

Wagner was identified through surveillance footage, vehicle tracking, and materials found in his Albuquerque home, including fire-starting components and matching spray paint. Authorities said he also possessed a stencil reading “ICE=KKK,” similar to graffiti at the GOP office.

Wagner faces two federal counts of malicious destruction of property by fire, carrying five to 20 years in prison each. His detention hearing is scheduled for April 16.

Attorney General Pam Bondi called the acts “domestic terrorism,” vowing no leniency. “Hurling firebombs is not political protest,” added Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
