Stephen Miller, chosen by President-elect Trump as deputy chief of staff for policy, announced that mass deportations would be Trump’s top priority. During an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Miller stated Trump would enact executive orders to “seal the border shut” and initiate the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.

Miller urged Congress to pass a border funding package, calling for increased border patrol agents, military operations, and expanded resources for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He claimed these actions would mark the most significant domestic policy achievement in 50 years. Trump has also appointed Tom Homan, an advocate of family separations, as his “border czar.”

The administration plans to use the U.S. military for support, raising concerns among immigration advocates about legal, logistical, and economic challenges. Critics fear the plans could disrupt immigrant-dominated industries and strain resources.
