The special counsel’s investigation into President Joe Biden’s management of classified documents has concluded without recommending criminal charges. According to a comprehensive 345-page report submitted to Congress by the Justice Department, the inquiry determined that Biden’s actions, while involving the mishandling of classified materials from the 2009 Afghanistan troop surge and sharing sensitive information with his memoir’s ghostwriter, did not warrant legal action.
This decision stands irrespective of the DOJ’s policy against prosecuting sitting presidents. The report, highlighting Biden’s improper handling of classified documents, includes photographic evidence of classified materials stored in unsecured locations, such as a cardboard box in his garage and a filing cabinet beneath his television.
