Independent US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., polling at around 8%, will not participate in the upcoming Biden-Trump debate in Atlanta. Accusing CNN of colluding with major party campaigns to exclude him, Kennedy’s campaign claims 71% of Americans want him on the debate stage. In response, Kennedy plans a counter-programming “real” debate on Elon Musk’s Twitter/X platform.

Kennedy argues that Americans deserve to hear from him, accusing Presidents Biden and Trump of financial exploitation and restricting voter choice. Despite qualifying in six polls and securing ballot access in five states, Kennedy faces legal challenges in additional states. Democrats accuse him of being a political tool for Republicans, while Republicans also express concerns about his candidacy.

Kennedy’s supporters, including holistic health coach Christy Jones and student Sujat Desai, worry that his exclusion from the debate stage hinders his campaign. Kennedy continues to seek broader exposure and support, with a busy schedule of public events planned for July.
