Jesse Ventura as potential vice-presidential candidates. Kennedy’s campaign confirmed ongoing discussions with Rodgers, who recently joined the Jets but was sidelined due to injury, and with Ventura, who introduced Kennedy at an Arizona campaign event.

Kennedy’s decision on a running mate is expected within weeks to meet state ballot access deadlines. Alongside Rodgers and Ventura, Kennedy has engaged with notable figures like former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. Rand Paul, and Andrew Yang, all considered part of a “short list” for the VP slot.

Switching from a Democratic primary run to an independent campaign in October, Kennedy’s bid has stirred Democratic concerns over potentially diverting votes from President Biden, aiding Trump’s return. Furthermore, Kennedy has explored the possibility of joining the Libertarian Party’s ticket, seeking broader ballot access for his 2024 presidential endeavor.
