Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) announced Thursday that she will introduce articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., citing “health care chaos” under his leadership.

“Health care chaos. Reckless cuts. Rising costs. Michiganders and families across the country are paying the price for RFK Jr.’s agenda,” Stevens posted on X. She said she is drafting impeachment articles because “enough is enough.”

Stevens has been a vocal critic of Kennedy since his appointment, previously calling for his resignation after reductions in medical research funding for pediatric cancer and vaccines. “He’s making Michiganders unhealthy and unsafe. He needs to resign now,” she said earlier this month.

The impeachment push comes as Kennedy faces backlash from the medical community for policies altering childhood vaccination schedules and for President Donald Trump’s controversial health advice, including telling pregnant women to avoid Tylenol.

Republican senators have also shown unease, with one lawmaker telling The Hill that GOP members are “starting to break ranks” over the administration’s health policies.
