Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) dismissed allegations of voter fraud in the state following claims made by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.). Greene raised concerns after a county encountered issues with its voting machines, but Raffensperger stated the problem was exaggerated online. “The equipment’s working,” Raffensperger emphasized, noting the state has conducted numerous audits since the last election and leading up to this one.
Georgia is experiencing historic early voter turnout, with over 1 million ballots already cast. Raffensperger reiterated his commitment to certifying the election results accurately, stating, “I’m going to follow the law and follow the Constitution.”
