The America First Policy Institute (AFPI), a group preparing for a potential future Trump administration, reported a breach in its computer systems, marking the second known cyberattack targeting Trump-affiliated supporters. The organization did not disclose what materials were compromised.
Marc Lotter, AFPI’s chief communications officer, stated the breach appears consistent with tactics used by nation-state actors, allowing the group to respond swiftly. AFPI, led by former Trump Domestic Policy Council leader Brooke Rollins, is publishing policy guides and drafting executive orders for a potential Trump administration.
This breach follows a previous cyberattack attributed to Iranian hackers who targeted Trump’s campaign. The FBI has not commented on the latest incident.
