Support for President Donald Trump‘s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement is growing across the Republican Party and among the broader electorate, according to a new NBC News poll released this week.

More than 70% of Republicans now identify with the MAGA movement — a sharp rise from 55% just before the November 2024 election that secured Trump’s return to the White House. The movement’s reach has also expanded beyond the GOP, with nearly 40% of all registered voters polled in March identifying as MAGA supporters, up from about 20% in January 2024.

The growth was particularly strong among college-educated men, rising from 21% last fall to 37% in March.

The poll, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies, surveyed 1,000 registered voters from March 7 to 11 and carries a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points.
