Police in northern Virginia are searching for Toby Shane Kessler, a 39-year-old homeless man suspected of breaking into an office building leased by Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Kessler on a burglary charge after he was caught on surveillance video Sunday night forcing his way into the office in Ashburn, which also serves as headquarters for the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee.

Kessler spent a brief time inside the office, but it remains unclear if anything was taken. The sheriff’s office is unsure if the break-in was politically motivated, and authorities are seeking more information following Kessler’s arrest.

Kessler, who has a history of criminal behavior and has been in the Washington metropolitan area since at least 2018, was recently charged in Fairfax County with entering property with intent to damage. He holds a California driver’s license.
