The House Oversight Committee on Monday released more than 200 pages of documents allegedly from Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, including a letter that appears to be signed by former President Bill Clinton.

The letter attributed to Clinton praised Epstein’s “childlike curiosity” and “drive to make a difference,” though part of the note was illegible. The collection also contained an alleged letter from Donald Trump, featuring a drawing and a message ending with, “may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Committee Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said Trump is not accused of wrongdoing and criticized Democrats for “cherry-picking documents” instead of focusing on Epstein’s crimes. He said Republicans plan to pursue Epstein bank records to advance the investigation.

Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., ranking Democrat on the panel, said his party will review all the newly obtained documents, adding in a video statement that the president was “lying to the American public” and accused him of a cover-up.

The White House dismissed the Trump letter as a forgery. Clinton has not publicly addressed the document attributed to him, which marks one of the highest-profile names to appear in the latest batch of Epstein-related records.
