Elon Musk announced he will pay up to $1 million per day to Pennsylvania voters who sign his America PAC petition in the lead-up to Election Day. The petition advocates for free speech and the right to bear arms. Musk made the announcement at a Pennsylvania rally supporting former President Donald Trump, where he stressed the media’s lack of coverage of the petition. To spread awareness, Musk selected a rally attendee to receive the first $1 million prize for promoting the petition.
Musk’s campaign to rally support for Trump in Pennsylvania started Thursday, targeting undecided voters in the battleground state. Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) acknowledged Musk’s ability to connect with voters typically out of reach for Democrats, calling him “incredibly popular.”
Musk, who owns social platform X, has personally contributed over $75 million to Trump’s re-election bid through his PAC since July. He also offered voters in other battleground states $47 for signing the petition and referring others.
