Tens of thousands of Israelis protested on Sunday night, demanding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agree to a cease-fire with Hamas following the military’s recovery of six hostages’ bodies. The protests, marked by chants of “Now! Now!” for an immediate cease-fire, took place across the country, including outside Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv, where relatives of the deceased marched with coffins.

Netanyahu, who has vowed to eliminate Hamas following its deadly attack on Israel in October, blamed Hamas for refusing all proposals during ongoing negotiations. Israel’s largest trade union, Histadrut, has also called for a general strike to push for a cease-fire, aligning with the public’s growing demand for an end to the conflict.
