Billionaire Mark Cuban criticized Elon Musk’s support for Donald Trump, warning that Musk’s loyalty may not be reciprocated. In a social media exchange on Sunday, Musk reiterated his backing for Trump and accused Democrats of using immigration to influence swing states. Cuban responded by cautioning Musk that Trump’s loyalty is only to himself, saying, “You will find out… his loyalty is only to himself.”
Musk did not reply directly to Cuban, but Trump supporter David Sacks dismissed Cuban’s remarks as “projection.” Cuban emphasized that his concerns were personal, not political.
The feud between Cuban and Musk, largely centered on their political views, has intensified as the 2024 election nears. Cuban, a supporter of Kamala Harris, has been vocal in defending Democratic policies, while Musk has increasingly leaned right, setting up a pro-Trump super PAC and endorsing Trump.
