A Waterville Senior High School teacher is under investigation after publishing violent and threatening posts on Facebook that called for the deaths of President Donald Trump and his supporters. English teacher JoAnna St. Germain wrote that “Trump and his cronies need to die,” and suggested the U.S. Secret Service “take out” everyone who backs Trump.

In subsequent posts, St. Germain reaffirmed her comments, saying she would act herself if she had the skill set and that she had no regrets, even anticipating her firing. “I’ll die on that hill, happily,” she wrote.

Superintendent Peter Hallen issued a statement confirming an active investigation and said safety remains a priority. St. Germain has since been removed from the school’s staff directory, and neither she nor school officials have publicly responded to media inquiries.

The Secret Service has not confirmed whether it is investigating the threats.
