Right-wing activist Laura Loomer, a close ally of President Donald Trump, warned the administration Monday against granting a pardon to Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of minors.

In a post on X, Loomer wrote, “I strongly advise AGAINST anyone lobbying the Trump admin and the DOJ to Pardon Ghislaine Maxwell… Do not do it.” She added, “There will be no coming back from that,” tagging Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Attorney General Pam Bondi in her message.

Earlier the same day, Trump told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins he would “have to take a look” at the idea of a pardon, saying he was unaware Maxwell’s request had been denied. The Supreme Court had just rejected Maxwell’s final appeal of her 2021 sex trafficking conviction.

Loomer has also criticized Bondi’s handling of the Epstein files, calling for a special counsel to oversee the matter, warning the controversy could “consume his presidency.”
