Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday dismissed President Donald Trump’s claims that recent U.S. airstrikes destroyed Iran’s nuclear program, calling them “a dream.” Speaking on social platform X, Khamenei said, “The US President boasts that they’ve bombed and destroyed Iran’s nuclear industry. Very well, in your dreams!”

Khamenei also criticized Trump’s efforts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, rejecting any new negotiations with Washington. “Dealing where the outcome is predetermined using coercion isn’t a way of dealing,” he said, vowing that Iran “will never submit” to American pressure.

Trump had previously claimed the U.S., in coordination with Israel, conducted a 12-day military campaign in June targeting Iranian nuclear sites in Isfahan, Fordow, and Natanz. International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi confirmed the facilities suffered “massive damage” but said Iran still holds roughly 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%, which can be further refined for weapons use.

Despite the reported damage, Grossi said uranium stockpiles remain at all three facilities, underscoring ongoing nuclear concerns amid renewed tensions between Washington and Tehran.
