InfoWars founder Alex Jones announced that reporter Jamie White was killed in Texas over the weekend. Jones claimed White was “brutally murdered” and suggested the policies of Austin’s Democratic District Attorney Jose Garza contributed to his death.
Jones stated that White was killed outside his home, just miles from InfoWars’ studios. He accused Garza of failing to control crime in the area. White’s sister, Kelly Kneale, however, disputed claims that he was targeted, stating he was shot during an attempted car break-in.
Austin police confirmed responding to a “shoot/stab hotshot” call late Sunday night, finding a man with “obvious signs of trauma.” The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released details about any suspects but said the investigation is ongoing.
White’s family expressed their grief and called for justice, while InfoWars pledged to continue his work.
