House Democrats have named members to the governmental efficiency and waste subcommittee, which will collaborate with the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk.
Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.) will serve as the ranking member of the subcommittee. Stansbury, a former White House Office of Management and Budget employee, emphasized her commitment to bipartisan efforts and ensuring policies benefit Americans.
Joining her are Reps. Robert Garcia (Calif.), Stephen Lynch (Mass.), Greg Casar (Texas), Jasmine Crockett (Texas), and Gerry Connolly (Va.), the ranking member of the Oversight Committee, who will also serve on the subcommittee.
The subcommittee will be chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), signaling a potentially contentious but collaborative approach between parties.
