WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) pushed back Wednesday night against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-N.Y.) claim that she is on a “revenge tour” within the Republican Party. Speaking on NewsNation’s The Hill, Greene dismissed the assertion as “gossip” and accused Ocasio-Cortez of being “jealous” after Greene’s recent appearance on The View in New York.

Ocasio-Cortez made the remark during an Instagram livestream Monday, alleging that Greene sought to run for Senate in Georgia but was blocked by President Donald Trump’s allies. Greene denied any Senate ambitions, calling the chamber “a place where all good ideas go to die.”

She also rejected a report by NOTUS suggesting she had discussed a possible 2028 White House run, calling it “a lie.” Greene said her focus remains on supporting Trump and working on legislation in the House.

“I think it’s good to have respectful conversations,” Greene said. “People are sick and tired of the political drama and the toxic culture we have.”
