Johnson faces pressure from House conservatives, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who introduced a motion to remove him as Speaker over his handling of government spending and Ukraine aid. Despite this, Bacon expressed confidence in Johnson’s continued Speakership, praising his character and intentions.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw echoed this sentiment, suggesting those supporting the motion to vacate are siding with Russia.
