The family of Virginia Giuffre and several of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers condemned the transfer of Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum-security prison in Texas, calling it “a cover up” and “preferential treatment.”

Maxwell, who is appealing her 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, was moved from a Florida facility to Federal Prison Camp Bryan, which previously housed high-profile inmates like Elizabeth Holmes.

“This is the justice system failing victims right before our eyes,” said a joint statement from accusers Annie and Maria Farmer, along with Giuffre’s family members. “President Trump has sent a clear message today: Pedophiles deserve preferential treatment and their victims do not matter.”

Maxwell recently met for nine hours with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche amid growing criticism of the Trump administration’s handling of Epstein documents.

Earlier this week, Trump claimed Epstein had “stolen” Giuffre from Mar-a-Lago’s spa. “She’s not an object, she’s a person,” her brother Sky Roberts said, rejecting the characterization.

The family also urged Trump not to issue a pardon for Maxwell, stating: “Ghislaine Maxwell is a monster who deserves to rot in prison for the rest of her life.”
