Nathaniel Tuck, a former Florida police officer and Proud Boys member, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for his role in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack. Tuck, 32, pushed past police and entered the Capitol with fellow rioters, later posing for a photo with Proud Boys members.
Prosecutors described Tuck as part of a group planning violence and confrontations with police. He pleaded guilty in September to obstructing law enforcement during a civil disorder and illegally entering restricted grounds. U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly also ordered him to pay $4,000 in fines and restitution.
Tuck, who resigned as a police officer in 2020, joined the Proud Boys in 2018. His father, Kevin Tuck, also participated in the riot and will be sentenced next week. More than 1,500 people have been charged in Capitol riot cases, including dozens of Proud Boys leaders.
