Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has accused Israel of committing “clear signs of ethnic cleansing” in Gaza, where over 44,000 Palestinians have reportedly died, and 90% of the population has been displaced, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health. MSF described the humanitarian and medical crisis as catastrophic, with widespread physical and mental trauma that would overwhelm any health system.

Medical teams report increases in illnesses such as respiratory infections and skin diseases caused by overcrowding and unsanitary conditions.

MSF documented 41 attacks on its staff and facilities over the past year, resulting in eight deaths and numerous injuries. It also criticized Israel for targeting civilian infrastructure, stating that the long-term damage to Gaza’s healthcare system and mental health would be unprecedented.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected claims of genocide, attributing the war’s consequences to Hamas.
