Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) introduced a House resolution Tuesday condemning recent attacks on Tesla vehicles and dealerships, which she described as acts of “Radical Left-Wing domestic terrorism.”

Boebert stated the attacks meet the definition of terrorism — “the unlawful use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims” — and criticized what she sees as politically motivated violence targeting Tesla owners due to their support for President Trump and Elon Musk.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has pledged to prosecute such acts as domestic terrorism, responding to the rise of the “Tesla Takedown” movement, which promotes protests, divestment, and vehicle defacement in opposition to Musk’s role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The resolution is co-sponsored by several House Republicans, including Reps. Andy Biggs, Byron Donalds, Anna Paulina Luna, and others. Boebert urged Democrats to join her effort, saying voters deserve to know where lawmakers stand on condemning violence.

Musk and Trump have vowed to hold perpetrators and propagandists accountable.
