Steve Bannon, former adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, stated Tuesday that Elon Musk remains linked to the MAGA movement despite ongoing criticisms. Speaking at Politico’s “First 100 Days” event, Bannon said Musk’s financial support and involvement in conservative initiatives ensure “a seat at the table.”

Bannon has criticized Musk in the past, calling him “a truly evil guy” in an Italian newspaper interview and vowing to oust him by Inauguration Day. Yet, he expressed hope for converting Musk from “a techno-feudalist to a populist nationalist.”

Bannon also targeted Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on his “Bannon’s War Room” podcast, accusing him of using $450 million to influence the 2020 election. Bannon claimed both Musk and Zuckerberg are now “supplicants” due to Trump’s anticipated return to power.
