WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A 28-year-old Texas man, Nicholas Lyn Ray, has been arrested in Palm Beach County after authorities say he made violent antisemitic threats online targeting several conservative activists, including Laura Loomer. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said the investigation began on October 12 when agents were alerted to a series of threatening posts made on X under the handle @zionistarescum.

According to an arrest affidavit, Ray’s messages, posted between October 8 and 10, directed hate-filled slurs and explicit threats at Joshua Benjamin Hammer, Seth Dillon, Karol Markowicz, and Loomer. The posts allegedly called for public hangings, shootings, and other acts of violence, accusing the victims of being Israeli agents.

One message to Markowicz read, “You deserve to be hung,” while another to Hammer stated, “Traitor to America. You should literally be killed by a firing squad.”

Ray faces multiple felony charges, including making written threats to commit a mass shooting or act of terrorism, extortion, and unlawful use of a communication device. He remains held without bond at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center.
